Use the following tutorial to practice on the front view of the character below right. Note: you will have to create your own art, so you will be drawing the character using that reference image.
This Adobe CC 2020 tutorial will show some of the changes from the earlier tutorial specifically how to insert bones into graphic symbols
You are to follow the concepts laid out by Jazza in the video at left to bone your character from the previous assignment. And show they are functional by having a short bit of movement.
Include an image that makes sense to animate from the front.
When done you should have about 5s of smooth 2D-realistic animation.
Using your knowledge from Assignment #9 and #10 - take the image of the girl below and deconstruct her into basic moving parts (nowhere near as complicated as in Asst #9). Follow the rudiments of the walk cycle in the video at left.
Next, using the bone tool to animate a walk cycle for the girl (click on her for a larger copy).
NOTE: A walk cycle is a complete loop as seen in the video. When done you should have a cycled video that appears to continue forever.
Your final project in Flash is to use your character(s) in a simple, fluid scene. I would recommend tying together everything you've learned thusfar and include in elements from past projects. An example could include having your walk cycle dude jump after a bird that is flying away from him. The project must have:
a minimum of 10 seconds (240 frames) of rendered footage and;
evidence of (false) camera movement including;
at least 1 dolly shot
at least 1 zoom shot
also include the following shot types;
a closeup. (hint: if you want to change a camera 'scene' from, say, a mid-shot to a closeup, simply keyframe the movement over 1 frame and greatly scale your character(s)
an establishing shot (maximum zoom out)
it will be rendered at default H.264 quality and at 1280x720 resolution
bring the rendered product into Premiere and introduce a soundtrack for the film (it can have copyrighted content in this particular case)
add Foley work
you can have a speaking part, but it is not being evaluated
