To send an item/page for translation, make sure you are on the parent item before clicking 'Bulk Translation' in the Lionbridge Translation tab:
This will prompt the translation wizard to open. Select the source language you want the item/page to be translated from i.e. English (Australia) and then check off the languages you want the item/page translated into i.e. Germany and Spanish before clicking next:
Make sure when you are selecting the language you want the item/page translated into that it is the parent language:
German (Germany) : Deutch (Deutschland)
Spanish (Spain, International Sort) : español (España, alfabetización internacional)
French (France) : français (France)
Italian (Italy) : italiano (Italia)
Dutch (Netherlands) : Nederlands (Nederland)
This will show you the content tree and have the item you are on highlighted. To send a whole page for translation (parent item and modules) select the double arrow (add branch). To send only a single module or parent item, select the single arrow (add item) once the item you want sent is highlighted:
Click next and this screen will appear, make sure that the workflow box is ticked:
Click next and this screen will appear, nothing needs changed on this window
Click next
On this screen make sure 'assign translation workflow', 'send SEO fields' and 'send standard fields' are ticked. Set the workflow state as 'Lionbridge Sample Workflow' as appears in the screenshot
Select 'Send items to translation provider' and input a job name (usually follows this format 2059599-discover-dublin-au-to-de-es), press next
This will prompt you to send the item/page for translation and the wizard will let you know it is being sent. You can close the wizard and Lionbridge will continue to send the item/page in the background
