The collage header is used to surface rich media content regarding a specific theme or interest. It enables users to view more interactive pieces of content earlier on in the page and create an impactful introduction to the page
It includes 3 fixed containers that display rich media content such as video and image
The collage hero is used across the following templates: trip ideas and collection pages
Collage hero elements:
Large frame used to display a video, 2 small frames used for supporting for images
Background of the 3 fixed containers is determined by the dominant colour in the hero image
On mobile, the 3 frames stack
If there is no video available, it will have an image fallback
Widths available: full width
To edit the collage hero content:
Ensure you are on your local market flag
Click on the collage hero module in the content editor
To select all images to appear in the 3 frames, in the left collage images box navigate to the relevant folder in the media library and double-click the relevant images so that they appear in the box on the right. Use the arrows on the right to order the images to your preference
4. If you want to use a video in the large frame then scroll down to the video details fields
5. If you are embedding a video from YouTube, add the embed code into the video ID field. The embed code will appear in the YouTube share link in the following format: Orq_75kFi8I
6. If you are including a video loaded to the media library, use the drop-down in the video file field to source the video from the relevant folder
7. Navigate to the parent item and edit the title (75 characters max) and subtitle (185 characters max) using the free text fields
8. To choose a hero image click browse on the image field and select your upload image from the media library. You should check your hero image on mobile also to make sure it is displaying as expected. If you need to override the mobile version of the hero please see here.
Hero images must be 1900px and have a 16:9 aspect ratio
