There are several modules on the homepage which must be edited from the global folder in Sitecore and cannot be edited on the page level:

• The newsletter tout

• The porthole tabber

• Travel to Ireland callout

All of the above modules can be edited within the content data section of the global folder in Sitecore:  /sitecore/content/Ti/Global/ContentData

Newsletter Tout

This component is used to encourage visitors to Ireland.com to sign up to the newsletter. The newsletter is designed to provide users with additional content that promotes specific offers and campaigns and this module can be used in various locations to communicate relevant benefits to a page theme or topic

5. To add a background image click "browse" and select an image which has been uploaded and published in the media library

6. Choose an appropriate icon from the uploaded Form Icons

7.  Save and publish changes 

Experience Brand Porthole

The Experience Brand Porthole is an editorial component used to display the rich and immersive content that helps to tell the story of Ireland.com’s experience brands

Maximum of 6 experience brand slides may be added to the porthole

In Sitecore navigate to: /sitecore/content/Ti/Global/ContentData/Porthole Tabber Container/Experience Brands Porthole Tabber

1. Change to your local market flag 

2. The title (55 characters max) and subtitle (170 characters max) can be edited from the text fields

3. Double-click the experience brand slides from the left box you want to display so that they now appear in the right box. To remove a slide, double-click it in the right box and it will return to the left-hand side

4. Use the up and down arrows to the far right of the box to order the experience brand slides to your preference

5. Save and publish 

Travel to Ireland Callout

The component is personalised by using geolocation and a tailored map image to give the user geographic context of their travel time away from Ireland. For example, if we know you are travelling from the US through geo-location, a tailored image will load that shows the travel time from the US to Ireland

In Sitecore navigate to: /sitecore/content/Ti/Global/ContentData/Travel To Callout Container

A site languages use the "A site Travel to Callout" item and B site languages use the "Travel to Callout B site"  

1. Change to your local market flag and select the appropriate callout (A site or B site)

2. The eyebrow (50 characters max), CTA and title (30 characters max) can all be edited using the text fields 

3. To choose a background image click "browse" and choose an image which has been uploaded and published in the media library

4. You can add an internal link using the drop-down menu on the CTA link field

5. You can add an external link by clicking "Insert External Link" and pasting in the link to the URL field

6. Save and publish
