The competition page is used to provide an additional channel of communication and engagement with Ireland.com users. Content editors can use this to promote their competition and use this to request contact details to enter the competition
The competition template consists of the following elements:
Competition introduction (rich text module)
To insert a new competition page:
Ensure you are on your local market flag in the content editor
In the content editor navigate to the features folder: /sitecore/content/Ti/Home/features/your market
Right-click on your local market folder and select competition from the list of available templates
The competition form is created separately within the forms editor and can then be pulled into the competition page. For more detail on creating and editing forms for competition pages see here
To add your created form to the competition page follow the steps below:
Open the experience editor on the competition
Click the add a component button beside home on the top left on the experience editor
3. Click add here and choose 'full width' rendering
4. Click add here on the new row and in the window choose quiz form
5. In the next window select your already created competition form from the competitions folder
6. Click ok
7. The experience editor will pull in the new form with the default content. Click save in the top left-hand corner of the experience editor and wait for it to refresh
To ensure all email sign ups are automatically added to Zeta's database complete the following steps:
1. Ensure the URL of the competition page includes the word competition - this is used as the trigger for the Zeta tag so that any sign ups are added to the database.
Disable the email overlay for competition pages (checkbox on parent item)
Ask the email team to test and verify that email sign ups from the competition form are received by Zeta (including testing with/without accepting cookies) and country/language information is included
