Romans 8:28-30
God Works for the Good of Those Who Love Him
28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.
Some people believe in evolution...And evolution is a process that over time man is randomly affected by those things around him...Man has evolved from a one celled creature or a simple organism into what we are today...Everything, in evolution, happens randomly and haphazardly through time, as one goes through their personal lives...
Other people believe differently...Some people believe in fate and destiny, and believe things are predestined...They believe that their lives are predestined and are somewhat determined by the fate of Something or Someone...Their lives are not just a part of a random process of natural selection...We are here for a reason and just here randomly...To believe in fate, is to believe in God...And these believers believe that God's Will gets done in the end and in their lives too...
I believe that God is Provident over everything and He helps determine our fate, when we love Him, and do our best according to His purpose...When we follow Him, fate subtlety slips into our lives, by way of the Holy Spirit...Believers believe that we have an indwelt Holy Spirit that guides us to the Absolute Truth...Our destiny is shaped by God, if we follow and love Him and His Son and our Indwelt Holy Spirit...God rules over the events of our life, and everyone's life...
In evolution, we just randomly think and randomly go through our life...Our thought processes are random and have just evolved throughout time...But believing in God has a different outcome...We can see His Providential work going on over time...Believers believe that only God can work and make things happen in the lives of His followers (and others) and determine what will or will not happen to them...Life has an Author, and we are part of His story...Life is more than just a process of random events...
