Romans 5:6-8
Jesus Kingdom is About LOVE, as Jesus Died for Sinners
6 You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. 7 Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Jesus was not affiliated with a political party...He said He was a Jew and came to earth help the lost souls of Israel...His family as He grew up lived a Jewish lifestyle and followed Jewish Law...When the time came for the purification rites required by the Law of Moses for Young Jesus, Joseph and Mary (Jesus' parents) took him to Jerusalem to present Him to the LORD (as it is written in the Law of the LORD, “Every firstborn male is to be consecrated to the LORD”), and to offer a sacrifice in keeping with what is said in the Law of the LORD: “a pair of doves or two young pigeons.”...When Joseph and Mary had done everything required by the Law of the LORD for their Son, they returned to Galilee to their own town of Nazareth...
In Jesus' Ministry He often taught in some of the nearby synagogues...In His Teachings, He pointed to the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Wisdom books...Jesus observed the Ten Commandments and in His Sermon on the Mount furthers the Ten Commandments meaning...So He followed the religion of the Jews and considered Himself a Rabbi...In fact, He sometimes was called a Rabbi in the gospels...
Jesus strongly interpreted the Jewish Religion His Way, because He fulfilled this Scripture and opposed the way the Pharisees, the Sanhedrin, and the Teachers of the Law and how they interpreted the religion of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob...And He regularly went around Teaching about how close He was to God...He said He and God are One...He said He is in the Father and the Father is in Him...Before Abraham existed, He said I AM, which is the name of the One True God...So some people considered this very controversial...
Jesus was a nonviolent Man...If it is fair to call Him a man...He challenged the current social norms of His time, the roles of women in His society, and how the poor and needy were being treated and helped...He gives us the Parable of the Good Samaritan, which teaches us how to help the poor and how to help those in need...To many Jesus was a revolutionary...Yet, when ask if the Jews should pay Roman taxes, He said to give Caesar what is Caesar's and to give God what is God's...He was always teaching about God's Kingdom...
Jesus is alive today and still believes these things today...He is the same yesterday, today, and forever...He believed that He was Divine, because He said many things about being from Above and coming from Above...He called God His Father, and often refers to Himself as the Son of God...He said His Kingdom is not of this world but of another...When He was about to be arrested, He said His Servants could be fighting to save Him, if He chose them to...He told His Disciple Peter to put his sword back in its place for all who draw the sword will die by the sword...He again said do you not think I can call on My Father, and He will at once put at My disposal more than twelve legions of angels?...But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen in this way of the cross?...So we see both the Divinity in His Words and His nonviolent methods...
Today some believers try to associate their methods and ideas and beliefs with Jesus Teachings...There are currently different movements and many different comments who say their beliefs are in align with His...But Jesus taught about Truth and about LOVE...If someone is not telling the Truth, then they are not a follower of His, because no deceit ever left His mouth...So to follow Jesus one must know His Truth, because His Truth will set you free...Very rarely will you see someone die for a good person, but God sent Jesus to die for sinners, for those who are not righteous...And His ministry was one of a humble, nonviolent, servant-type help for others, and LOVE...This Kingdom of Humble, Nonviolence, helping others, and LOVE will reign forever...
