Luke 17:5-10
Increase our Faith
5 The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!”
6 He replied, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.
7 “Suppose one of you has a servant plowing or looking after the sheep. Will he say to the servant when he comes in from the field, ‘Come along now and sit down to eat’? 8 Won’t he rather say, ‘Prepare my supper, get yourself ready and wait on me while I eat and drink; after that you may eat and drink’? 9 Will he thank the servant because he did what he was told to do? 10 So you also, when you have done everything you were told to do, should say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty.’”
Romans 1:17
The Righteous Live by Faith

Galatians 3:11
The Righteous Live by Faith
11 Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God, because “the righteous will live by faith.”
Jesus teaches us the eternities and teaches us to have faith and belief in Him and His Father...Jesus wants us to trust Him just as we trust God...So faith is planted in God and His Son...To want more faith seems to be a good thing then...
So when the Disciples ask Jesus to increase their faith, it was good...And I really think, when we think about this, we all want our faith increased in God and His Son...Faith is what we live by...Faith is something we place and put in God and His Son...The righteous live by faith...Faith is not put into material things...Material things are more a desire and things that give us temporary pleasure...We cannot live by material things...But faith is an eternal thing...Faith is believing in an eternal life...And an eternal life is believing in God and the One He sent...
So, if we want to be righteous and live by faith, then wanting our faith to increase, I believe, is a natural thing to ask and it is a positive request for those asking...
