The myths say that the people of Sky Island originated from elsewhere. There are three distinct races that currently reside on Sky Island: the guerrilla warrior Shandians, the peaceful Skypieans, and mystic Birkans. All three human-like races possess small wings on their back.
When you select Sky Islander as your race you must choose Shandian, Skypiean, or Birkan as a subrace.
Angelic Glide: Though your wings aren’t strong enough to fly with, they can help with falls. When you are falling, as a reaction you may choose to move your movement speed in any direction additionally the first 20ft x Prof Bonus while you descend are not treated as falling.
Waver Rider: You are proficient with Vehicles (Wavers) and gain the Mending technique.

Guerilla Warfare: When you take the disengage action you gain additional movement speed equal to half of your movement speed for the round. When attempting to hide during combat you have advantage on the roll.
Explosive Surprise: Starting at level 5, when you roll damage with a weapon or consumable with the "Explosive" property you may reroll 1's and 2's, but must use the new roll even if it is a 1 or 2. At level 11 you always reroll 1s and 2s.

Aircraft Expertise: You are proficient with Vehicles (Sky) and may double your proficiency bonus for any ability check made with a Vehicles (Sky).
Dial Tinkerer: Your people are quite knowledgeable on the inner-workings of Dials and how to improve them. At character creation, you start with two common dials and one uncommon dial, each of which is rank 1.
At level 5, by spending 3 DT you can improve the Rank of a Dial in your possession by 1. Additionally, you can cast the Prestidigitation technique at-will using a dial in your possession.
Cloud Walker. You are naturally acclimated to life at high altitudes where air is thin and winds rough. You can hold your breath for twice as long, and your speed cannot be reduced by strong winds or weather-related effects.

Mantra: You gain proficiency in the perception skill. Your latent understanding of Observation Haki allows you to sense attacks before they even occur. As a reaction to being hit by an attack you can roll 1d4 and add it to your AC, potentially causing the attack to miss instead. You may use this a number of times equal to half your proficiency bonus (rounded up) per long rest. If you gain the Observation Haki Attunement later this bonus increases to 1d6.
Quick Charge Dials: At Level 5, twice per short rest you can spend a bonus action to forcibly recharge a common or uncommon dial's charges in your possession by a number of charges equal to your proficiency bonus. You can spend an action to recharge a rare or very rare dial's charges in the same manner.
