The Apostles
At level 2, instead of one follower you have a retinue of worshippers at your disposal. Your numbers of followers is increased to a number equal to half your proficiency bonus rounded up. Each of these followers can be different following the follower rules as normal. While you still can only have one active follower at a time your active follower can be swapped for another of your followers by spending your move action to do so on your turn.
Words of Power
At level 7 you gain the Command and Suggestion Techniques which don’t count against your known Techniques. If you already know one of these choose another Technique you would qualify for instead. When using Command the target no longer has advantage on the Save if you are in Combat with them. When using Suggestion the target no longer remembers how or why they did the suggested action.
Protect the Master
At level 13 twice per short rest, as a reaction to you being targeted by an attack roll or Saving Throw, your follower can move its movement speed, if it makes it adjacent to your or the opponent, it is targeted by the attack or Save instead.
New Follower
At level 17 you can try to recruit enemies you’ve bested. Roll a persuasion, deception, or intimidation check at disadvantage with the DC equal to 8+The Enemy's Level. You cannot bypass your follower Maximum with this but you can replace existing followers with newly recruited ones. The recruited enemy is scaled to match other followers but may have unique traits and feature options as fitting. Work with your GM to determine these traits a few prestatted traits for enemies recruited in this way can be found in the follower section.
