Step 2: Roll for Lineage
Once your character sheet is approved, the sheet checker will guide you to the unknown channel. You can roll 5d100 to determine if you gain a special lineage or devil fruit. You do not need to consume the fruit at character creation.
Note: this can be attempted only once every two weeks per player to prevent spamming characters for a chance at a lineage. The exception is when creating a character with a new character slot.
Please be aware that LINEAGE ROLLS WITHOUT A STAFF MEMBER PRESENT WILL NOT BE COUNTED. You should ping an @Admin to witness your roll, no other staff can supervise the lineage roll.
Step 3: Determining Your Ability Scores
You have three options for determining ability scores:
Rolling: You can roll for stats
Standard Array: Use stats of 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10 for your character.
Point Buy: Utilize a boosted point buy system. You can use this Point Buy Calculator for assistance. You have 30 points to allocate to your stats. Increasing a score above 13 costs two points, and above 15 costs four points. You can lower scores to a minimum of 6, with each decrease below 8 granting an additional point. Ensure custom rules are set as follows:
Like lineage, you can roll stats every two weeks. You can reroll stats for a particular lineage roll once.
Step 4: Select Your Race, Class, Starter Feat, and Techniques
Consult the resources mentioned in step 1 to select a race, class, and techniques that suit your character. These choices significantly impact your core gameplay features. You also start with a level 1 feat regardless of race. Human gives you a second one.
Step 5: Choosing a Background and Faction
Determine your character's background, which provides bonuses, proficiencies, and items. As part of this step, select one Feat of your choice for which you qualify.
Choose a faction: Pirate, Marine, or Bounty Hunter. This choice influences how your character interacts with the world and the adventures available to them.
Step 6: Starting Gear and Items
Every character begins with the items and Berri specified in their background, along with the following:
30,000 Berry
A Rowboat
A Backpack
60 ft. of Rope
During and after character creation you can purchase items from the Sea Port Store at the prices listed in unknown to determine your starting gear. Post character creation you are required to post purchases in the unknown.
Step 7: Submit your Sheet
After completing your character sheet, submit it to unknown for review and approval by a sheet checker.
Leveling Up
As you participate in missions, you will earn MP (MISSION POINTS). The amount of MP needed to level up is as follows:
Level 2: 9 AP
Level 3: 12 AP
Level 4: 15 AP
Levels 5-8: 18 AP (You cannot pass Level 5 until you reach Paradise)

Other Notes
Character Slots: You start with two character slots and gain more as you progress. You may spend 30 AP in order to unlock a third character slot, 40 for a 4th, and 50 for a 5th.
Devil Fruit Levels
Your Devil Fruit Level determines your proficiency in using your devil fruit abilities. At level 1, you are considered a new user, with a basic understanding of how to utilize your powers. This goes up to level 5, where you are considered a master at your devil fruit powers to the point of awakening them, and unlocking some latent aspect within your abilities. However, to grow stronger in your fruit class, you must spend AP, similar to growing stronger in your class. The AP cost per DFL is as follows:
1 to 2: 15 AP | 5th Level
2 to 3: 35 AP | 10th Level
3 to 4: 50 AP | 15th Level
4 to 5: 60 AP | 20th Level
