Time to try.... Clementines!

Sweet, juicy and oh so fun to peel - this month, your nutrition educator will be delivering clementines for students to try. Did you know that the clementine is just a tiny version of an orange? As a citrus fruit, clementines are high in Vitamin C, which helps our bodies fight off infection, and heal our wounds. Can you guess the state that is the highest producer of this fruit? If you guessed Florida - you are correct!

We usually just eat clementines as a tasty snack - but did you know that you can incorporate them and other citrus fruits into a crowd pleasing recipe?
