Fog

   In this poem, the poet has beautifully shown how the fog comes slowly and slowly just like a cat does. He has given a comparison using a metaphor calling the fog arriving and slowly engulfing the atmosphere, and you can hardly see it but only feel it. The fog stays on for some time sitting on his haunches like a cat looking around the place, the harbour and the city. In a short course of time, it leaves the place in the same manner as the cat. Everything becomes clear all around as the fog disappears.
