The Tree of Unity is a method to further boost your familiars in familiar battle modes, and is a way to utilize duplicate familiars you may have acquired through hatching or the gacha.
The Tree of Unity is a new set of skill trees for your familiars. To level up the tree, you'll need to feed it familiars that have been evolved to 6* (regardless of their base star rarity). Each element has its own branch of the tree to upgrade. Upgrading the Tree will boost your familiars' performance in numerous ways.
The main screen for the Tree of Unity shows your current status, including the level you've upgraded each element to, the total level of the tree, what Unity skills you have unlocked, and what level you've upgraded each Unity skill to.
To boost the elemental level of your tree, you must feed it a familiar of that element that has been evolved to 6*. This familiar can be at level 1/no boosts; all that is required is that it is at 6* (regardless of its original star rarity). Due to the extra costs of materials/gold to upgrade familiars, it is only recommended to feed it extraneous 4* familiars that you have, which you have evolved to 6*, unless you have already evolved lower rarity familiars to 6* that were still sitting in your inventory.
The current maximum level per element is 90.
Up to level 5, you only need to feed it a single familiar of that element, and some gold.
After level 5, you will also need to include some number of unity elemental fragments, which are primarily acquired by fighting in the Familiar Grand Prix.
The tree has an overall rank level, based on all the elemental levels you have put in. These provide moderate stat boosts to your player character.
Each level per element will provide a moderate attack, defense, and HP boost to all of your familiars of that element.
At certain elemental levels, you will unlock the ability to feed that familiar additional gummies, past the base 100 cap per stat.
To boost a familiar's stats past the 100 cap, you'll also need to use high grade gummies. These can be acquired through events, or by trading in a certain amount of normal gummies and gold. Like with normal gummies, each high-grade gummy will boost a stat by 1 point.
Each time you level up an element, you will earn some skill points. These can be invested in a variety of skills that will boost your familiars in familiar-specific battle modes: Familiar Adventure, Familiar Arena, and Familiar Grand Prix.
The number of skills you can set in these modes depends on the total rank of your Tree.
Each skill can be boosted up to level 10. Different skills require different numbers of points to upgrade, so keep this in mind when deciding to whether go all in on one skill or if you want to spread out your points across multiple skills.
