Skill Information: Acquiring Skills | Transcending Skills | All-class Active Skills | All-class Passive Skills
Certain skills can be transcended, or leveled past the initial cap of 10. Currently, only all-class special active skills can be transcended, although additional skill types will likely be added to the system as time goes on. Transcendence upgrades the skill one time (into Transcended: Skill) and allows you to level up the upgraded skill to a new level 10.
The reasoning for this was that most players have been able to max out special active skills through the Hyperboost system, and the devs decided it was time to expand what existing skills could do.
The materials you need to transcend are the same material you used for base leveling: magic skill books. In the case of graded skill books, you need to use 3-star books. You'll also need 1,000,000 gold.
To go from transcended levels 1 through 6, you'll need additional copies of those magic skill books as well as masterclass pages. For transcended level 6 and higher, you will need Ancient Mage-King's Research Journals, a material to be added to the game in a future update. They will be available from new areas in the game as well as through event rewards, to be announced.
In your skill list, you will now see tags on skills that let you know its transcendence status. In this screenshot, the first skill cannot be transcended (no transcendence tag); the second skill has already been transcended (tag denoting transcendence and a purple background applied); the third skill has yet to be transcended (a tag denoting its potential to be transcended.)
Select the skill to transcend. You'll notice the standard "level up" button has been replaced with a "transcend" button. Select it and you will see the materials you need to transcend it -- the appropriate magic skill book and 1,000,000 gold.
When you transcend, the skill name will update to "Transcended: Skill name" and acquire a purple background and tag.
The level of the transcended skill will be reset to level 1.
Once transcended, the "level up" button returns to the skill list, and you can see the materials needed to get the skill to its next transcended level, as well as the boost to stats you'll get at that level.
One additional ability of each Special Active Skill is to increase elemental duplication stacks by a certain amount on each cast. The number varies by skill. By comining multiple transcended skills of the same element in your build, you can increase the stacks much more quickly.
When the stacks reach 20, you'll consume all the stacks to gain an elemental attack boost (10% element attack up) for 10 seconds.
Once the boost ends, you can start to rebuild your stacks.
