The data in this hub is focused on the east Asia servers (Korea/Japan/Taiwan). As of March 2024, this site is no longer being updated.
Equipment can be further improved by engraving it. Each equipment has up to 3 engraving slots that can be unlocked/upgraded through this process to boost its abilities further. Because this process consumes 3* or 4* equipment and a lot of upgrade materials, it is only recommended to start after you have fully awakened your 3* and 4* equipment and no longer need extra dupes of them, and no longer need to disassemble them in order to get strengthening stones and/or anvils from them.
Only certain types of equipment can be engraved. Their base rarity must be 3* or higher and have been upgraded to 6*, have been strengthened to at least +10, and be at level 30.
Fodder equipment to be fed into the target equipment must be the same type. For example, to engrave a fire gun you need a fodder fire gun; to engrave boots you need fodder boots. Additionally, fodder equipment must have a base rarity of 3* or higher and have been upgraded to 6*, but does not have additional level or strengthening requirements.
The higher the base rarity of the fodder equipment, the better the chances are to unlock/upgrade more of the engraving slots in the target equipment. For this reason, it is recommended to start with 4* dupe equipment you no longer need, as the material cost and lower potential for 3* equipment is prohibitively expensive.
Each slot has an equal chance to be leveled up when engraved.
The base grade of the fodder equipment sets the rates for how levels may be upgraded at a time, chosen between the 3 available slots.
Base 3*:
95%: 1 level
5%: 2 levels
Base 4*:
80%: 3 levels
15%: 4 levels
5%: 5 levels
Base rare 4*:
50%: 3 levels
35%: 4 levels
15%: 5 levels
Once you reach a certain engraving level on a piece of equipment, you will also need to feed in a certain number of engraving stones.
There are engraving stones for weapons (blue), armor (green), accessories (orange), and orbs (red, not pictured). They are commonly dropped by enemies in map zones starting at Atrasia, and are rewards in higher levels of the Fire Temple training dungeon.
Monsters in specific zones only drop one type of engraving stone, but you can force them to drop other types of stones by using the appropriate juice. These can be made in your kingdom's restaurant if your kingdom maintainers have unlocked the recipe.
Each slot has a maximum level of 30. The engraving level marked on the weapon in the box in the bottom right is the combined total from all slots.
The skills for each slot depend on the type of equipment and its value range depends on its base rarity.
