Level 3 – Advanced Herbal Formation
The Wellness Herbalist course is a Level 3 advanced training designed for students who have completed foundational herbal studies and are ready to deepen their knowledge in structured herbal wellness education.
This course builds upon Kitchen Herbalism and Community Herbalist foundations, integrating expanded materia medica study, anatomy awareness, and applied wellness education skills.
Teachings are presented in a primarily secular educational format. Biblical integration may be included in supplemental notes.
The Wellness Herbalist course prepares students to:
• Expand their herbal knowledge beyond foundational use
• Understand body systems from an educational perspective
• Develop structured herbal formulation skills
• Apply seasonal and constitutional wellness principles
• Prepare for responsible community consultation (educational scope)
This course does not provide medical training or licensure.
The Wellness Herbalist Level 3 pathway may include:
• Kitchen Herbalism (Level 1 review)
• Foundations of Herbalism (Level 1 review)
• Community Herbalist (Applied studies)
• Holistic Winter Workshops (Immune & Lymphatic Education)
• System-Based Herbal Support Education
• Wellness Herbalist Training Modules
Course titles may evolve as curriculum updates occur; learning objectives remain consistent.
Students may explore:
• Expanded herbal materia medica
• System-based herbal education (digestive, immune, lymphatic, etc.)
• Holistic nutrition foundations
• Anatomy & Physiology (educational)
• The Holistic P.E.N. Way™ Method – Level 1
• Herbal formulation principles
• Coaching and consulting foundations
• Ethical boundaries in wellness education
All instruction remains within educational scope.
Students may be introduced to traditional wellness observation methods, including:
• The Holistic P.E.N. Way™ Framework
• Iridology (educational observation)
• Aromatherapy foundations
• Face, nail, and tongue observation
• Biofeedback-based wellness insight tools
• Constitutional wellness principles
These tools are presented for educational discussion only and are not diagnostic systems.
To complete the Wellness Herbalist Level 3 course, students must complete:
• Structured instructional modules
• Practical assignments
• Documented case studies (educational format)
• Final review and competency assessment
Instructional expectations may range between 180–250 hours depending on track selection.
Internship and business development training may be required for students pursuing Practitioner Level.
Upon successful completion, students receive:
Wellness Herbalist – Level 3
Certificate of Completion (NHMEC)
Additional certificates may be issued for prerequisite courses completed within the pathway.
Optional registry consideration may be available upon meeting separate criteria and application approval.
Registry participation requires annual renewal and ethical agreement.
