Level 3 – Advanced Faith-Integrated Herbal Studies
The Holistic Christian Herbalist course is a Level 3 advanced training designed for students who desire to integrate structured herbal education with a biblical worldview.
This course builds upon foundational and community-level herbal studies and emphasizes spiritual stewardship alongside herbal knowledge.
Instruction is presented through a Christian lens while maintaining educational clarity and professional boundaries.
This course prepares students to:
• Deepen their understanding of herbal materia medica
• Integrate biblical principles with holistic wellness education
• Understand the tripartite nature of man (spirit, soul, body)
• Develop structured herbal preparation skills
• Practice ethical and responsible wellness education
This course does not provide medical training or licensure.
The Holistic Christian Herbalist pathway affirms:
• God as Creator of plants and provision
• Stewardship of the body as a spiritual responsibility
• Wisdom and discernment in wellness education
• Respect for lawful medical practice
Herbs are taught as traditional wellness supports and not as cures or medical treatments.
Students may explore:
• Biblical foundations of health and stewardship
• Herbal materia medica expansion
• Herbal preparations (teas, tinctures, salves, oils)
• Phytonutrients and plant constituents (educational overview)
• Holistic nutrition foundations
• Anatomy & Physiology (educational)
• The Holistic P.E.N. Way™ – Level 1 integration
• Ethical consultation and ministry application
Students may be introduced to complementary wellness observation methods such as:
• Iridology (educational observation)
• Face and tongue observation
• Aromatherapy foundations
• Biofeedback-based wellness insight tools
• Constitutional wellness discussions
All modalities are presented for educational awareness only and are not diagnostic systems.
Typical completion timeframe:
9–12 months (self-paced with structured modules)
Students complete:
• Online instructional modules
• Practical preparation assignments
• Educational case studies
• Final review and competency evaluation
Advanced internship or business development training may be required for students pursuing Practitioner Level beyond Level 3.
Upon successful completion, students receive:
Holistic Christian Herbalist – Level 3
Certificate of Completion (NHMEC)
Additional prerequisite certificates completed within the pathway may also be awarded.
Optional registry consideration may be available upon meeting separate requirements and approval.
Registry participation requires application and annual renewal.
