The NHMEC Professional Registry requires annual renewal in order to maintain active status.
Renewal ensures that registered members remain engaged in continuing education, ethical accountability, and responsible representation of their credentials.
Registry recognition is not permanent without renewal.
Registry members must renew annually by:
✔ Completing 12 Continuing Education (CE) hours
✔ Submitting CE documentation
✔ Affirming continued compliance with the Code of Ethics
✔ Remaining in good standing
✔ Paying any applicable renewal fee (if required)
Renewal confirmation will be issued after review.
Registry renewal is due once per calendar year from the original registry approval date.
Members will receive reminder notification prior to renewal deadline when possible.
It is the responsibility of the registry member to track renewal timing.
For renewal, members must submit:
• CE Log Summary
• Course Titles Completed
• Dates of Completion
• Total Hours Earned
NHMEC reserves the right to request additional documentation if necessary.
Renewal requires confirmation that the member:
☐ Continues to practice within lawful educational scope
☐ Has not misrepresented credentials
☐ Remains in compliance with NHMEC policies
☐ Agrees to ongoing CE requirements
Failure to maintain ethical standards may result in denial of renewal.
• All CE hours current
• Renewal approved
• Listed in Registry Directory
• Authorized to use Registered designation
• CE deficiency
• Missed renewal
• Policy non-compliance
Inactive members:
• Are removed from public directory
• May not represent themselves as actively registered
• Must complete renewal requirements for reinstatement
Registry members placed on inactive status may apply for reinstatement by:
• Completing outstanding CE hours
• Submitting required documentation
• Paying applicable reinstatement fees (if required)
Reinstatement is subject to review.
Failure to renew within a reasonable grace period may result in registry lapse.
NHMEC reserves the right to require reapplication for extended lapses.
Renewal standards exist to:
• Preserve institutional credibility
• Encourage ongoing learning
• Maintain ethical accountability
• Protect public trust
Registry is a stewardship — not a lifetime entitlement.
