Natural Health Ministries Education Center is built upon a Christian worldview grounded in the authority of Scripture and the finished work of Jesus Christ.
Our educational philosophy flows from what we believe about God, creation, mankind, and stewardship.
We affirm that God is the ultimate Healer.
Through the blood of Jesus Christ and the stripes He endured upon the cross, provision has been made for the redemption of spirit, soul, and body.
We do not claim to heal.
We teach stewardship.
Healing belongs to God.
We believe that God desires for all people to walk in health, freedom, and spiritual liberty.
Health is not merely the absence of illness, but the function of alignment within the whole person.
We recognize that true wholeness includes:
• Spiritual restoration
• Emotional stability
• Physical stewardship
We affirm that the human body possesses a God-given innate capacity to maintain balance when properly supported according to divine design.
Our role as educators is to teach responsible support — not to claim control over outcomes.
The body functions within natural laws established by the Creator.
Scripture teaches that mankind was formed from the dust of the earth.
We therefore recognize humanity’s inherent connection to the land and to nature as part of God’s created order.
The same elements found in the earth are reflected within the human body.
Herbal education, in this light, becomes an exploration of God’s created provision — not a replacement for Him.
We believe that man was created in the image of God and functions as a triune being:
• Body
• Soul (mind, will, emotions)
• Spirit
Health is understood as the function of these three interrelated dimensions.
Our educational approach integrates all three through the Holistic P.E.N. Wayâ„¢ framework.
We believe that the human body is intended to be the temple of the Holy Spirit.
It is therefore to be nurtured, protected, and stewarded in a manner that supports one’s calling and service.
We teach stewardship for the purpose of faithful service, including participation in the work of ministry.
We believe it is the responsibility of the wellness practitioner to minister toward wholeness of body, soul, and spirit — rather than merely focus on symptom management.
Practitioners formed at NHMEC are taught:
• Ethical responsibility
• Discernment
• Humility
• Proper scope of practice
We do not diagnose, treat, or replace medical care.
We educate, support, and steward.
We affirm the following core doctrines:
We believe the Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God.
(2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20)
We believe God is the Creator and Sustainer of the universe.
(Genesis 1; John 1:3; Colossians 1:16; Hebrews 1:3)
We believe Jesus Christ was without sin and is both Lord and Christ, to the glory of God the Father.
(Acts 1:9–11; 2:36; Philippians 2:9–11)
We believe that whoever confesses with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believes in their heart that God raised Him from the dead shall be saved.
(Romans 10:9–10; Acts 2:21; 1 John 1:12)
We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells, empowers, teaches, guides, and comforts believers.
(Luke 12:12; Romans 8:11; John 16:13; Acts 1:7–8; 9:31)
We believe that the Lord Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection provide redemption for spirit, soul, and body.
We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ, who will rule as King.
(Acts 1:9–11; 1 Thessalonians 4:13–5:2; Revelation 19:11–21; 22:20)
NHMEC teaches herbal and holistic wellness education within a biblical worldview.
We affirm:
God is the Healer.
Scripture is the authority.
Stewardship is our responsibility.
Formation requires faith and wisdom.
Our programs are educational in scope and do not provide medical licensure.
