Individual classes may be:
• Taken independently
• Applied as electives within the Custom Herbalist Practitioner (CHP) Program
• Used for continuing education hours (where applicable)
Students enrolled in Practitioner-Level programs may use approved electives to fulfill certain learning hour requirements.
Students enrolled in the Custom Herbalist Practitioner Program may select approved Individual Classes as elective modules.
Electives:
• Count toward documented learning hours
• Must meet documentation standards
• Do not replace core Practitioner requirements
• Do not replace case study requirements
Electives enhance focus — they do not reduce standards.
Certain Individual Classes may qualify as Continuing Education (CE) hours for registry maintenance when approved by NHMEC.
CE approval is determined by course category and documentation standards.

Completion of individual classes does not equal completion of a level or Practitioner program.
