The Natural Health Ministries Education Center provides a structured pathway for individuals who desire to deepen their understanding of herbal wellness and natural health stewardship.
Through the NHMEC learning community, students may study herbal education, complete coursework, and pursue certification that recognizes their educational achievement.
This pathway allows individuals to learn at their own pace while progressing toward professional recognition within the NHMEC Professional Registry.
The first step in the NHMEC pathway is joining the Community PENothecary Learning Membership.
This monthly membership provides access to the NHMEC learning environment and educational resources.
Membership includes access to:
• Herbal courses
• Educational classes and workshops
• The PENothecary community learning space
• Herbal study resources and downloads
• Practitioner pathway education
Membership allows students to begin learning and exploring herbal wellness within a supportive community.
Members are free to explore and study courses that align with their interests and educational goals.
Students may participate in:
• herbal wellness courses
• educational workshops
• herbal preparation learning
• system-based herbal education
Courses are designed to provide foundational knowledge and practical understanding of herbal wellness principles.
Students may progress through the learning materials at their own pace.
Students who desire certification must complete the assignments associated with their selected courses or program pathway. MOST CLASSES ARE IN CANVAS.
Assignments may include:
• written reflections
• educational worksheets
• herbal study exercises
• course completion assessments
Completion of assignments demonstrates that the student has engaged with the course material and fulfilled the educational requirements for certification eligibility.
After completing all required coursework and assignments, students may apply for certification.
Certification recognizes that the student has completed the educational requirements associated with the course or program.
Certification may include:
• review of completed coursework
• verification of assignments
• issuance of a certificate or diploma
Certification fees help support administrative review, record keeping, and certificate generation.
Students who complete practitioner-level training may apply to join the NHMEC Professional Registry.
The registry recognizes individuals who have completed practitioner-level herbal wellness education through NHMEC.
Registry members may receive:
• professional recognition within the NHMEC directory
• practitioner identification badge
• opportunities for continuing education
