Natural Health Ministries Education Center prepares Community Herbal Care Kits to support individuals and families experiencing illness, recovery, crisis situations, or seasonal hardship.
These kits are offered through the Community PENothecary at the Backyard Herbal Farmstand as part of our outreach mission to provide practical wellness support and encouragement within the community.
Each kit is prepared prayerfully and distributed with dignity and care.
Community Herbal Care Kits are designed to:
• provide comfort and practical wellness support
• encourage resilience during times of difficulty
• support seasonal health preparedness
• strengthen community compassion and care
We believe caring for our neighbors reflects faithful stewardship.
Contents vary based on seasonal needs and available resources.
Kits may include:
• herbal tea blends
• simple herbal wellness items
• soothing salves or oils (when available)
• seasonal wellness support items
• devotional encouragement or uplifting messages
These items are intended to provide comfort and support.
In addition to herbal care kits, NHMEC prepares Blessing Bags to support individuals experiencing hardship or housing instability.
Blessing Bags may include:
• hygiene essentials
• personal care items
• comfort supplies
• encouraging notes or scripture cards
These bags are designed to meet immediate personal care needs with dignity and compassion.

As part of disaster response and community recovery efforts, NHMEC distributes seed packets to encourage renewal, food resilience, and hope following flood or disaster events.
Seed packets may include:
• vegetable seeds
• culinary herb seeds
• pollinator-friendly plants
The Regrow Initiative encourages families and communities to restore gardens, rebuild food sources, and cultivate hope through stewardship of the land.
Care kits may be provided to:
• individuals facing illness or recovery

• those referred through community partnerships
Distribution is guided by availability and community need.
