Success Criteria

At the end of this chapter, students are able to:

  1. Find the surface area and volume of pyramids.

  2. Find the surface area and volume of cones.

  3. Find the surface area and volume of spheres.

  4. Find the surface area and volume of composite shapes.

Introduction

Previously in Secondary 1, we looked at the surface area and volume of prisms and cylinders. In Secondary 2, we will examine 3 more 3D shapes: Pyramids, Cones and Spheres.
