Success Criteria

At the end of this chapter, students are able to:

1. Identify the hypothenuse, adjacent and opposite side for a given reference angle in a right-angled triangle.

2. State the definition of sine, cosine and tangent.

3. Find the value of sine, cosine and tangent for a given reference angle.

4. Find an unknown length of a triangle using trigonometry.

5. Find an unknown angle of a triangle using trigonometry.
