Engage, Inspire, Empower

Our goal is to support the success of our students, to promote a life-long enjoyment of reading, and to provide knowledge building experiences with 24/7 access to information in a welcoming environment that is conducive to learning.

We  strive to achieve this goal through attention to Equity, Well Being and Achievement.

 October is Women's History Month.

We celebrate the women in Canada who have made a lasting impact.

As one of the many annual Heritage/History Months on the TDSB calendar, Islamic Heritage Month is a wonderful opportunity for everyone in our schools and communities to reflect, celebrate and learn about these contributions together. Islamic Heritage Month 2022 Resources

This week's virtual library tip - See what other students are reading. Read their reviews. Check back frequently to see what titles TDSB students are reading, and get ideas for what to read next. Better still submit your own book recommendations and reviews.

November 2, 2022 – I READ CANADIAN DAY

I READ CANADIAN DAY is a national day of celebration of Canadian books for young people. This is a day dedicated to ‘reading Canadian’ and will empower families, schools, libraries and organizations to host local activities and events within the week.

What is digital citizenship?

Digital citizenship is the ability to navigate our digital environments in a way that’s safe and responsible and to actively and respectfully engage in these spaces.

We are good digital citizens at Lawrence Park C.I. Library Learning Commons.

We hope this newsletter will be a support to you as we read, research, and learn together at Lawrence Park C.I. Library Learning Commons.
