January 7, 2022 Newsletter

Engage, Inspire, Empower

Our goal is to support the success of our students, to promote a life-long enjoyment of reading, and to provide knowledge building experiences with 24/7 access to information in a welcoming environment that is conducive to learning.

We  strive to achieve this goal through attention to Equity, Well Being and Achievement.

As our school pivots to on-line learning due to the recent increase in Covid 19 cases in Ontario, we want to ensure students, staff and all our Lawrence Park learning community that the Library Learning Commons is open virtually and ready to help you. We want you to know that we hope you and your families are all safe and healthy.

Please know that you can email us if you and your students need our support with virtual learning, and we will do our best to help you access the best virtual resources available. We are highlighting a few special resources for you to explore in the days ahead.

Tamil Heritage Month is proudly recognized during the month of January at the Toronto District School Board.  This year our theme for Tamil Heritage Month is:  Our Histories.  Our Legacies.  Our Homelands.

The TDSB is committed to creating school learning environments that are caring, safe, peaceful, nurturing, positive, respectful and that enable all students to reach their full potential.

Welcome to the refreshed Virtual Library! You may notice the look of the site is slightly different. These changes have been made to increase the accessibility of the site. The overall way the site works remains the same. If you are looking for the password button it is on the top navigation bar.

We hope this newsletter will be a support to you as we start the new year together virtually.
