Edward Lancaster

1889 -1965


Edward Walter Lancaster was born in Kingston-upon-Thames and rode in various countries including France, Germany, Spain & Belgium.

He settled permanently in England in 1925.

He won the inaugural running of the Victory Chase at Manchester on January 1, 1919 on Water Bed.

Edward died at Newmarket General Hospital on August 13, 1965 aged 76.
