總長三公里的直線加速，意指過去在北投大度路上的飆車活動，過往在這條路上的飆車族是為一群擁有表演者意識的人，觀看飆車及特技是當時習以為常的夜間休閒活動，直到暴力失序事件一再上演後，具有表演意識的飆車族再也不群聚於此，再也不見大規模取締、圍觀熱鬧的民眾及攤販。時至今日，所有在這條路上各自為了不同原因而高速行駛的人們，成為另一種失去驕傲但仍舊孤獨的飆車族。
The title refers to the street racing event in the past on the Dadu Road in Beitou District. The street racers were people with performance consciousness.Watching racing and stunts is the common nocturnal entertainment at that time. These activities carried on as usual until violence and disorder incident happens repeatedly, the said racers stop gathering at this place, as well as mass enforcements, bystanders and street vendors. Today, motorist who travel high speed on the road for their own reasons, they become a racer who lost their pride but retain their lone wolf behavior.

飆速a碩生
Idle Speed
成員葛大乘與潘佑華，是來自新媒碩士班甲組與乙組的雙人組合，恰巧對於搭載化油器的摩托車有嚴重的迷戀，於是決定合力透過各自對機械、影像、聲音的掌握來共同詮釋一部對於過往的想像，英文團名Idle speed意為「怠速」指引擎空轉時的固定轉速。
The duo Ko Ta-Sheng and Pan Yo-Hua are post graduate students from New Media Department group A & B respectively. Both of them are deeply and insanely fascinated with carburated motorbikes, with their knowledge on machanism, videography, and sound, together they decide to do an interpretation on an imagination of the past,. The name “Idle speed” refers to the engine revolutions while it is stationary and idle.
