✞Lockport Daily Journal Lockport, N.Y. Friday Evening Feb 2, 1883 - DIED - DYSINGER At Royalton Feb 2, 1883 Isaac Dysinger aged 57 years. Funeral Monday, Feb. 5 at 10 A.M.
✞LOCKPORT DAILY JOURNAL, SATURDAY NOVEMBER 6, 1897 CHRISTINA MILLER DYSINGER The deceased was born in Perry county, Pa., April 19, 1828, and moved with her parents two years later to Royalton, N. Y., living with them until Oct. 18, 1849, when she was united in marriage to Isaac Dysinger of Royalton, N.Y. He was the first in the family to pass over the river to his reward. Their home was gladdened by six children, all of whom survive. namely: Mrs. D. Kayner. Lockport, N. Y.; Mrs. C. E. Keck, Rochester, Ill.; Messrs. W. L. and C. A. Dysinger and Messrs. (sic) S and R. E. Dysinger, Royalton, N. Y. Never was there a better, more solicitous, self-sacrificing mother, or a more devout wife. She made home a joy and delight to husband and children. At the age of fourteen she united with the English Lutheran (Brick) Church, Lockport, N. Y., and for almost 56 years was a steadfast and consistent member. On September 27, 1897, the funeral service was conducted in her late home by the pastor of the M. E. Church. Her own pastor being absent on business, the funeral sermon was preached from the text Rev. 14:13. She was borne by her nephews Jacob, Warren, Dewey and Melanchtnon Dysinger to her last resting place, and laid by her husband's side in the cemetery at Dysinger, N. Y. there to await the resurrection of the blessed.

7840 Lincoln Avenue Ext./Johnny Cake Rd., Built 1850
This was the apparent location of Isaac and Christina (Miller) Dysinger's former farm. Isaac's son William and his family lived at this location in the 1880 NYS Royalton Census near George Behe and Daniel Ranney's farms on the same road as they appeared on the 1875 Royalton map (see Maps). By 1908 the farm was owned by J. W. Ranney who had a nearby adjacent farm because William likely sold it and moved to Lockport (see below). Meanwhile, Isaac and his family moved to Bulmore Rd. near Betsy (Norcross) Dysinger, Aaron Dysinger, and Lydia (Dysinger) Behe in the 1880 NYS Royalton Census just a few years before Isaac's death. William's name doesn't appear on a map for the property because of the 33-year gap (1875-1908) in the maps for those years.
note- Brothers Isaac and George II Dysinger married sisters from the Miller family, Christina Miller and Anna Mary Miller respectively. The Miller sisters' brother Jacob Miller married Augusta Kleinhans after his first wife died. Perry Co., PA is where Nicolaus (Isaac's grandfather) resided before moving to Fayette, NY in 1813, and George (Isaac's father) was born before eventually moving to Royalton in 1830.

✞Allein, Prudence (Prudy) (nee Rankie) Of Lancaster NY, Prudy went home to be with her Lord on November 27, 2020; beloved wife of James B., loving mother of Amy (Lee) Perl and Laura (Richard) Keller. Loving grandmother of Brian (Erin) Perl, Jason Perl, Laurel Perl, Colleen Perl, Kyle Perl, Ryan Keller, Hannah Keller, and Abby Keller. Prudy was also great-grandmother to Madalynn, Travis, Christine, Jackson, Cooper, and Joleih. Sister of Roy Rankie (late Thelma) and Barbara (John) Clare. Also survived by her cousin Susan Rowell and many nieces and nephews.
Born to Richard and Loraine Rankie on July 21, 1943 and raised in Lockport NY, Prudy loved gardening, fly fishing, and watching birds gather at her many bird feeders. Photography became a serious hobby which allowed her to capture the beauty of God’s birds for all to enjoy. She would make greeting cards, using her photos and Bible verses, to share with other cancer patients to give them encouragement and a spiritual uplift while she herself was being treated for leukemia.
Everyone she became acquainted with or knew was touched by her inner beauty and her love for God. She always thought of others first, and then herself. She loved her Lord, talking often to others of His love for everyone. Prudy was a fighter, not wanting to leave her loved ones but looking forward to being with her Lord Jesus.
A service celebrating Prudy’s beautiful life will be held in the spring, her favorite time of the year when her birds would return to her backyard. Gifts in her memory may be given to the Beaver Meadow Audubon Center, 1610 Welch Road, North Java NY 14113. Share condolences at www.wendelandloecherinc.com

9270 Chestnut Ridge Rd., built 1929
The approximate location of Chauncey Alvin Dysinger's former farm was in Gilberts Corner, Middleport, Town of Royalton. This may not be the house he lived in since it was built when he was 71 y.o. and living in Lockport, only 11 years before he died and only 2 years before his third wife died. In the 1910 US Census for Royalton Chauncey and Frances lived with their son Ross in Dysinger Corner near Edward Truax on Akron Rd. Chauncey listed his occupation as "own income" which sounds like he sold his farm for cash or he was renting it. By 1922, Chauncey married his second wife Barbara in Lockport while living on Erie St. in the city.
Chauncey and Frances (Long) Dysinger had the following child:
Ross Earl Dysinger, born 20 Apr 1887; died 28 Mar 1919, buried in Royalton Mountain Ridge Cemetery.
