The Meyer family is well documented on FamilySearch.org, as is the Deissinger family. One of Johannes Meyer's daughters, Maria Catharina, married Henrich Deissinger. Johannes' will mentions his daughter, (Maria) Catharina Deissinger, and her children (Barthel's grandsons), who were to receive a portion of his estate. The following is the brief life history of Johannes Meyer on his FamilySearch details page-
Johannes Hans Meyer was the oldest son of Hans Michael Meyer and Anna Maria Knauss of Oberhochstadt-Sudishe, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany. 1721-married to Maria Catharina (Stallman). Johannes Hans Meyer arrived in Philadelphia in 1739 with wife Maria Catharina and children- Johan Egidius, Valentine, Catharina, Eva Barbara, Johann George, Margaretha, Johannes Henrich.
Johannes Meyer joined His brother Hans Daniel Meyer settled north of Stouchsburg in the Tulpehocken Settlement, Berks County.
Johannes married 2nd to Anna Maria Essel. Johannes and wife Maria Catharina and 2nd wife Anna maria are buried in St. John's Host U.C.C. Old Churchyard-(no Tombstones). St. John's Host Church Records and Cemetery Records list the names (Moyer/Maier)
Ancestry.com McDonald Family Tree: Johannus Hans Meyer arrived in Philadelphia on 3 September 1739. Egidius was three. Hans purchased land from Richard Penn in Manor of Andulhea on Swatara Creek, but actually Tulpehocken Creek. The 141 1/2 acres was patented 8 April 1751. Johannes Hans married his first wife, Maria Catherina Stallman in Germany. She died between 1739 and 1746. In 1746 he married Anna Maria Easel in Tulpehocken. Johannus became a naturalized citizen in April 1746 in Lancaster County. He purchased four acres for a school and cemetery from the Hosts Church. Johannus Hans probably died in 1766 as his will was written 28 December 1765.
