For the 2001 Disinger Reunion, Frank A. Disinger wrote:
"How fortunate, for us, that over one hundred years ago our forbearers had realized the value of family connections and the importance of recording their moment in history and the wisdom for continuing the tradition of annual reunions.
Very few families can claim the history and heritage that has been this unselfishly extended to us!
It is my suggestion and my hope that we should take steps to preserve and protect our records. I am sure our officers would appreciate any assistance, ideas and information on this subject that our future action may be as wise as in the past."
