What is InsertLearning?

InsertLearning is a Chrome extension that lets you turn websites into interactive lessons. A teacher can find a random article online that pertains to their lesson, and with the Chrome Extension they can make it into an interactive lesson for their students to complete as homework.

Step by Step Guide!

After adding InsertLearning to your Google Browser, you're going to follow these steps to utilize InsertLearning in your lessons.

Step 1: Click here to assign this article to the classes you have listed from Google Classroom. Check the classes you want to do the assignment, and uncheck the classes you don't want to do the assignment.

Step 2: Click here to highlight words or phrases in the article that you want your students to pay close attention to.

Step 3: Click here to add a sticky note to the article. You can simply add a comment that you want your students to read, or you can paste a link to a photo, diagram, or video that you'd like for your students to see.

Step 4: Click here to insert a question you'd like for your students to answer. You can change the amount of points that the question is worth, and you can see all of the responses that your students submit.

Step 5: Click here to insert a discussion question. When you insert a discussion question, a small board is created and students can discuss their opinions on the article with one another and you.
