Explain Everything

Explain Everything is versatile app that allows to take the your interactive whiteboard ANYWHERE! Students, teachers, or anyone can use this app for learning. You are able to create projects, invite classmates and students, screen cast, and much more with it. Another cool feature is Collaborate; this feature allows all contributors of the project edit and talk in REAL TIME!

Hey, how do it use this thing?

Explain Everything is very user friendly. Here are some simple steps to get started.

1. Once you download the app, you can make an account. It does cost, but to you have a 30 day trial to get started.

2. After logging in, what happens next is really up to the user.

3. On the home screen, you can access all of the tools easily.

Top Left: Once you start a new project, you can chose from custom and different templates depending on the type pf project you are considering.

Top Right: By tapping one of the tutorials on the botton of the home page, a tutorial or help page comes up to guide you through any difficulty.

Bottom Left: By pressing the blue share button while editing you project, you can start a collaboration, share with people, or save to the Everything Cloud.

Benefits of Explain Everything in the Classroom!

  • Teachers can each lessons online, record them, and share them with students and other teachers.
  • Students can collaborate outside of the classroom without strict schedules and worries.
  • Tutoring online is made easy, no more misunderstood emails and confusion, explain concepts and have meeting in real time.
  • Students are able to form study groups and share notes with other students in the case of absence or urgency.
  • Teachers and parents can view student projects and check progress.
  • Explain Everything has a YouTube channel with new and updated videos on what's new in the app.


What can I do with it ?

In the classroom, the students would have so many new and inventive ways to use Explain Everything.

  • One example project could be students making a presentation/ lesson on a topic covered in class for a review session. Students would collaborate on a project and use the screen recording feature of the app to make a video to share with the class.
  • Another project might be a mandatory study hall. If their are students that can't make the session in class, the teacher can collaborate and share a code with those students so they are still able to participate. They will be able to see the content in real time and will be able to communicate during the session. This would make studying more flexible for students everywhere.
