What is Ebookadabra?

Ebookadabra is a children’s book app that is only available in the U.K. at the moment. The app has 100's of well known picture book titles. There is also activities and games for kids as a reward after reading the book. They can not play the games until they have read the book.

Step by Step Guide:

1. Select the appropriate Avatar from the start up page.

2. Choose a theme for the type of story you want to read.

3. Scroll through and select a book!

4. Read the story.

5. Once the whole book is read, you are free to play games.

    • The limit for children to be on the same family is three children plus the parents. The parents can keep track of everything the child does, you can even write messages to them.

Then the students will choose a book in independent practice and partake in the activity or game afterwards.

Activity: The student will be able to describe characters, settings, and major events in a story. The teacher will choose a book from the Ebookadabra app for the students to read. After reading the chosen book, the students will discuss the characters, setting, and major event of that story. They will create a poster as a class about the book.
