BSL concordance

যে ইশারাগুলোকে আমরা ব্রিটিশ ইশারা ভাষা (BSL) ইশারার কিছু সাদৃশ্য আছে বলে মনে করেছি, সেগুলোকে "BSL-সমঞ্জস" লেবেল দিয়ে চিহ্নিত করা হয়েছে। মনে রাখবেন যে, এর মানে এই নয় যে ইশারাটা BSL থেকেই এসেছে, এর মানে শুধু এই যে এই ইশারাটা দেখতে BSL ইশারার মতো, বা হুবহু একই ইশারা। আমাদের ইশারাভাষীদের দ্বারা ব্যবহৃত কিছু BSL-সমঞ্জস শব্দ নিচে দেওয়া হলো: 

• দেশি ইশারার পাশাপাশি ব্যবহৃত: আপেল, খারাপ, ধন্যবাদ, বধির, ভালো

• দেশি ইশারা প্রতিস্থাপন করেছে: অমান্য, চা, দৌড়ানো

Those signs which we have deemed to appear similar to British Sign Language (BSL) signs are marked with the label "BSL-concordant". Keep in mind that this does not necessarily mean the sign comes from BSL, it only means it looks similar to (or is identical to) the BSL sign. Some BSL-concordant words used by our signers include the following: 

• used alongside native signs: apple, bad, deaf, good, thank you

• replaced native signs: disobey/ignore, run, tea
