• বরিশাল: "ডানহাতের বাহু অর্ধ-প্রসারিত, আঙ্গুলগুলো একে অপরের সাথে স্পর্শ করে, হাতের তালু উপরের দিকে রেখে দ্রুত দুইবার পেটের কাছে আনা হয়।"

• কলকাতা: "ডান হাতের তালু উপরের দিকে রেখে সামনে-পিছনে নাড়ানো হয়।"

Banerjee's (1924) descriptions:

• Dacca: "Stroke arm."

• Barisal: "Right arm half stretched, fingers touching one another, palm pointing up brought close to the belly twice quickly."

• Calcutta: "Right hand palm up moved to and fro."
