As Altrusans, we believe everyone desires and deserves safety, comfortable housing, nutritious food, and an education . We hold a vision of a peaceful world where every person is valued, where all these needs are fulfilled.
Our efforts in the months ahead shall be to help in creating a peaceful, healthy equitable world, beginning with our own communities. See you at the in-person dinner meeting this month, and at a planning retreat following the installation of new officers in May.
Together we can make a difference.

Greetings Altrusans!
I hope this message finds you all doing very well. It’s a beautiful afternoon and I am enjoying the Spring weather. April is a wonderful time of year with new growth, both in nature and in self.
April 7, 2022 marks World Health Day. It is most important to take care of ourselves and our loved ones, but we must not forget the health of our World! We only have one planet; my hope is that it can continue to heal and sustain our current and future generations. Now, more than ever, we must protect this most precious place we call home, Earth! Please click the link to learn more about World Health Day 2022.
I have shared an awesome story with some of my 1st graders and if you have not read it, you really should and make it a gift to your children and grandchildren. The book is called “Greta and the Giants” by Zoe Tucker. The following quote from the book perfectly represents what we, as Altrusans, can do; “No one is too small to make a difference”.
Please have a pleasant April and have a great trip if you are heading to our conference. Be safe and enjoy the time spent together.
All the Best,
Tracey
