Periodically we place an updated version of SMCP into Google Drive for our clients to use once they're ready to update their program. However, while it's available for all clients it still needs to uploaded to your server before it will actually work.
Prior to updating SMCP it's highly recommended that you back up your data beforehand and ensure that no users are currently in the system as they're data will be overwritten. Here's a link further explaining the back up process.
The first thing you'll need to do is download the individual file which is shared upon request. Once this has been downloaded you'll want to go to your Tomcat Server's hosting page where you'll be prompted for a username and password. Once the password and has been entered your screen should look like this:
After loading this page the next thing you'll want to do is select Manager App. Once you arrive on this page you'll be looking for the option that says SM. When you find it you'll want to select Undeploy which removes the current SMCP build from your server.
Once this is removed (the page will usually refresh and you'll notice the "true" next to SM now displays "false") your next step will be uploading the new SM WAR File to replace your SMCP build. To do this scroll down until you see the Deploy Heading and select Choose File then upload the new WAR file that you initially downloaded. This should only take 1-2 minutes to complete the upload process.
For the last step we recommend restarting tomcat if possible using the method that is specific to your configuration. For example if you're using Windows you'll select Server Manager then right click "Apache Tomcat 7" and select restart.
