Doing business as addresses (DBA) have been added to SMCP to easily control what company information is being displayed on Invoices, Work Orders, Proposals, and Delivery Tickets. Now companies with multiple business names can easily change what business name and address their customers are seeing on documents generated from SMCP right from the order.
To set up a new DBA, enable permission 1221 and click 'SM Edit Doing Business As Address (1221)' under 'System Administration' in the SMCP main menu.
After a new DBA is saved it will appear in the 'Doing business as' drop down on the Edit Order screen.
Whichever DBA is selected on the order, that DBA will be used for every Invoice, Work Order, Proposals, and delivery ticket created from this order.
