We've added functions for producing a proposal from SMCP quotes or orders. Proposals include unlimited free text, and can also draw from maintainable lists of common phrases and descriptions as well as a list of different terms, conditions, and 'days-to-accept'.
You can also store salespersons' signatures and reproduce them automatically (subject to built in security limitations) on approved proposals so that there's no need for a printer - just print the proposal to the screen, save it as a PDF or other file type, and email it directly. OR if you prefer, attach your own formats and spec sheets, photos, etc.
Quotes, orders, or proposals can now be linked to bids, so all of your bid follow-up and lead analysis is now linked directly to your quotes: from the bid you can click directly to the estimate, and vice versa.
Proposals also include an 'approval' feature: the ability to approve proposals can be limited, if you wish, to individuals so that all proposals undergo last minute scrutiny - if the proposal is changed, the approval is removed automatically. UNapproved proposals can be printed, but have no signature blocks and indicate that they have NOT been finalized.
