It's important to keep master and transaction files clean and streamlined. You CAN remove technicians if they no longer work for you - here are the consequences of removing technicians from the system:
1) Any schedule entry for a removed technician will not appear: although the deleted technician's initials and name are still stored on every schedule (job cost) record, you won't be able to get them to appear on the schedule because that technician will no longer be attached to a location or service type. So although you can't re-create their schedule entries, you CAN list those schedule entries using a query or any reporting tool, because those schedule records are still there.
2) Order entry details for deleted technicians will continue to show the technician's name as before.
