We've added a new feature to the 'IC Edit Batches' function so that you can import long lists of inventory transfers, without having to enter each transfer one at a time.
This will be useful when you are setting up a new location, for example, and you need to move a lot of inventory from one location to another. OR you may choose to inventory your trucks individually, treating each like a separate location. After billing and shipping items from the truck daily, you'll want to replenish what was used and so you'll need to do a transfer for all the parts. A simple query can create a 'comma-delimited' file automatically, which can then be fed back to the 'import' function and create all your transfers automatically.
From the 'Edit Entry' screen on an IC Transfer batch, click the NEW link that says 'Import Transfers' - you'll see this screen:
From there you can import a comma-delimited file with the required columns as described on the screen. Contact us for more details about how to use this function.
