1962: Marilyn Monroe

Marilyn Monroe was the embodiment of Hollywood glamour during the 1950-60's. She was an actress, model and remains to this day, an icon. Marilyn is best known for her blonde hair, red lipstick, Chanel Number 5 and of course, her infamous white dress.

Marilyn's fame only continued to skyrocket, when American tabloids began to speculate about the relationship she had with President JFK and Attorney-General Robert Kennedy. These speculations only continued to grow when Marilyn was found dead on August 6 1962. So the questions remain - was Marilyn Monroe’s death an accidental suicide as ruled in her autopsy? Or was Marilyn's death the result of a sinister murder plot to shut up one of the greatest actresses of her time?
