1945: Hitler's Death

History teaches us that Adolf Hitler, the leader of the Nazi party, the driving force behind WWII and the mastermind of the Holocaust committed suicide as Russian troops marched into Berlin, signalling the end of WWII. He shot himself, bit down on cyanide and had one of his Generals burn his body in a ditch. When the Russian troops arrived, they found ashes, his teeth and a piece of his skull. The Russians collect this and after confirming it was indeed Hitler decided to flush his remains down a Russian toilet -- according to them, it was the least he deserved.

However, recent evidence suggests that perhaps Hitler did not die in 1945. Some historians believe there is evidence that supports the idea that Hitler fled to Argentina, where he lived out his life and died comfortably as an old man.

"So he's dead then? Too bad we didn't capture him alive. Isn't that convenient."
