VoiceThread Login

Login to VoiceThread

Logging in to VoiceThread can be accomplished by two different methods:

A. Login from within Canvas (Canvas/VoiceThread LTI)

B. Login outside of Canvas in a web browser: https://uw.voicethread.com (step #7 in the tutorial below)

(Legacy Instructions) Login to VoiceThread from Within Canvas

You can login to VoiceThread from within Canvas by clicking a link that is tied to the Canvas/VoiceThread LTI integration (please view tutorial below). The most common VoiceThread LTI links you will come across are the VoiceThread Home and Course VoiceThreads. Follow one of the options below to log in to VoiceThread from a Canvas course:

Note: If a course instructor is using Canvas to manage access to the threads for a course, you will need to click on the Course VoiceThreads link in the course to get added to the VT course group that manages access to the course threads. Once you have been added to the course group, permissions will follow you inside and outside of Canvas.
