Setting Up Your Email
Email is a primary mode of communication in the iSchool community. Students have access to email services through the Google Apps suite of tools. It is highly recommended that students use the university-provided Gmail account as their school email. However, you may forward your UW e-mail to any personal email account using the NetID Management Console. The management console can also be found through the "My Account" link in the top right corner of your MyUW home page.

Receiving Email Digests
If you are interested in joining any student organizations, you can find information about the organizations and can join their email lists on the iSchool Student Groups information website.
If you subscribe to multiple email lists at UW, you may wish to receive periodic digests (multiple messages grouped into one message) instead of individual emails to help cut down on the volume of email you receive. The following tutorial will help you set up digest mode.
