Which web browser should I use?
At the Information School, we use a variety of web-based applications in both our residential and online programs. Unfortunately, there isn't a single browser that runs all these applications equally well. Given this fact, you should become comfortable running different browsers at the same time. The list below explains which browser works best with each web-based application. Note: this list doesn't include all the applications we use; it's a list of applications we know have had issues with certain browsers.
The Learning Technologies Team recommends Mozilla Firefox as a primary browser. We find that it works better with more applications across many operating system platforms.
When using any web-based, if you have problems in one browser, try a different browser before contacting the support team!
