Zoom Desktop Client
Download and Install Client
Download Zoom Desktop Client from the Zoom website and install it on your computer. We highly recommend installing the client if you plan to use Zoom often.
Update Client
Launch the Zoom Client. View the Starting the Zoom Desktop Client article on the Zoom Support website for instructions.
Login on the client if you haven't already. See Login to UW Zoom Account for instructions.
If there is a mandatory update:
You'll see a light blue bar near the top of the Zoom Client with the message "A new version is available! Update".
Click on the Update button.
A message will appear that says Update Available. Click on Update to install
If there is an optional update:
Click on your user icon on the top right corner.
Click on Check for Updates.
If new updates are available, a message will appear that says Update Available. Click on Update to install.
