Dr. Joseph W. Dawson

My name is Dr. Dawson! I will be working as a ESE resource teacher for 7th and 8th grade this year. As a ESE resource teacher my focus will be on ELA and Math, but will also spend time in Social Studies and Science classrooms. I am excited for a new year and I am looking forward to seeing each of my students become successful students here at the Villages Charter School.

About me: As an ordained pastor and educator, I have been given the awesome opportunity to work with both adults and students to help them reach their educational goals.. I have been married to my lovely wife for 34 years and we have 2 kids, and 4 grandkids. When not on the golf course I am either spending time with family or traveling. This past summer we spent three weeks in France taking in all of the art, history, culture and food. I am looking forward to a new adventure in Italy and Greece this summer and hope to visit Mt. Everest in the future!!
