Dr. Joseph W. Dawson

My name is Dr. Dawson! I am moving up to 8th grade this year with my students. As an ESE resource teacher I will be focusing on ELA and Math, but will also spend time in US History and Science classrooms. I am looking forward to seeing each of my students become successful students in their 8th grade school year but also get them ready for high school and an amazing future.

About me: As an educator, I have been given the awesome opportunity to work with both adults and students over my career to help them reach their individual educational goals. I have been married to my lovely wife for 34 years and we have 2 kids, and 4 grandkids. When not on the golf course I am either spending time with family or traveling, and have been busy completing several books that will be published later this year. This past summer my wife and I spent three weeks in Italy enjoying the history, art, and food, and I am looking forward to our trip to Portugal this Christmas and Japan during our summer break.
